I normally wear a size 14 and am 5'2" and the 1x was just about right in size and length. As long as you're aware of the anomalous sizing to begin with (and of the fact that the bust on this dress *is* quite small), it's fine...the shape is flattering and it's very comfortable. I'm going to order the blue as well.

I bought this dress in the black and the white, size 1X. I don't think it's as obvious to potential buyers as it should be that eVogue Apparel's plus sizes for for JUNIORS. I'm 43. A size 12 in jeans and a 38D. This dress fit perfectly. I also want to mention that it's lined so no need to wear a slip. The lining is already a slip-like material (rayon?) so it hangs well.

Yes, order 2-3 sizes up. I got a 1x my measurements are bust40, waist30, hips36 inches and it fit very nicely except for the chest, but you can pull the dress up over your breasts a little to make it seem like the chest fits better. I wish the tiers started a little higher up, for me the area between my belly button and hips isn't washboard thin so this dress kind of emphasizes that area. Otherwise it came early and is a very pretty dress.

Shipping was incredibly fast. Package came in a small bag but unfolded with no problems. It was EXACTLY what was shown online. Wasn't sure about the empire waist but it is just fine. Hides any lumps especially in the mid section. It also has a built in liner so no worries there. If you have a lot on top be a bit prepared for a bit of a st. paulie girl look! Good with heeled sandals for a night out or flip flops for more casual days. Sizing was exact as chart so measure before you buy. Very very cute !!!

Wearing this dress is like wearing air. It's light and wispy feeling, a very light and rich cotton with lining. Extremely important to honestly measure yourself and order 3 sizes up!. I generally take at the very largest a 1X and had to order a 4X per measurements. So glad I did that as it fits me perfectly. I am back to order more in different colors. This dress can be an evening out or a sundress depending on how you accessorize. This was a great buy.
