This is such a beautiful dress. The empire waistline is totally flattering if you have a large waist and hips. The neckline does plunge, particularly if you're not very tall, so be prepared with an appropriate bra. The hem falls to just above my knees. On a taller woman, this would be more of a mini-dress, but I like it the length it is. The fabric is light weight and flowing, extremely comfortable, and not see-through. (so no slip required, girls!) If I didn't think people would notice I'm always wearing the same thing, I'd buy one of these in every color. I'll be wearing it for a very important dinner with a very special guy. It's a great dressy/yet comfortable dress!

I bought this dress with every intention to wearing it to a company party. I was determined to not buy a dress at the last minute either. When I saw this dress online, I fell in love - when I got it in the mail and tried it on, I fell more in love with it!
Unfortunately, my company announced that the party would be casual and now I will wait until my vacation in October to wear it. I am sad but I still cannot wait to wear it.
Please note; the mannequin has bigger breasts than I do so the dress isn't as daring when I wear it... but it still shows cleavage and is very figure flattering.

This dress is too cute. I am definitely plus size and love it. I was scared it would be too low cut or too short and it is both the perfect length and has sexy, not slutty cleavage. It is super flattering. I mean, I am going to spanx it up, but it is a great fit and I love it.

... but the only difference I'd point out would be that the plunging neckline is really more like something you'd find on a merry widow. Debra, the other reviewer, mentioned wearing an appropriate bra, but this went so low that I couldn't do that. Although I love this dress, I have to go sans bra, and this dress is quite revealing. If you are a little on the tall side, that would make a difference, but I'm 5'5, so I have to be a little judicious.
So, on that note, I'd just say it's lovely, and just as cute and sexy as can be, but I'm still careful about where and when I wear it. Just look at the picture; that's what it looks like in person, and there are plenty of situations in which I wouldn't be quite comfortable displaying so much.
On the other hand, if you pair this with that incredibly sexy pair of 5-inch heels, and add in a fab updo and the perfect jewelry, then this ensemble is perfect for that special night with that special someone. If a cozy little dinner-for-two with that special man who you've seriously got the hots for is coming up on your social calendar, then, always assuming that you completely trust the man in question, this dress might be just the little number for you.
I am giving this dress five stars because it is very flattering and very sexy; for the price it's a good deal.

I don't really consider myself plus size but often have to shop plus size due to my large breasts and hips (I'm a 36F with 40 in hips) and then I drown in the huge waistline (I have a 29 in waist). So I ordered this dress because the size chart seemed to fit and the bust looked really big for the waistline, like ti would fit me. I ordered a 1X and it shipped quickly (in time for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend!) and it's wonderful! Very pretty fabric, not as t-shirt-like as I expected after reading other reviews here. It's a shiny, stretchy, and somehow cottony material that is very soft.
My only complaint is that the neckline is made of fabric folded under from the shoulders to the center of the bust and it isn't sewn down so it often unfolds and distorts the look of the neckline. I assume it was left unsewn so the neckline could be adjusted, but I'd really rather it were sewn down because throughout the day it just moves by itself and sometimes shows too much or looks weird. I'm trying to find a solution for that currently as sewing would look bad and pins are easily seen. Maybe fabric glue'? I don't know.
All in all, it's an adorable, sexy dress that surpassed my expectations :)
